Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins) is an epic fantasy-adventure shonen set in a world resembling the European Middle Ages.
The story begins ten years after the "Seven Deadly Sins"—a group of the strongest and most cruel knights in the Kingdom of Liones—were framed for plotting to overthrow the monarchy. She eventually crosses paths with Meliodas, the pint-sized captain of the Sins who runs a traveling tavern called the Boar Hat. Despite his youthful appearance, Meliodas is an ancient and devastatingly powerful warrior harboring a tragic secret. As they reunite the scattered members—each representing a specific sin—they must face off against demonic forces and the legendary "Ten Commandments."
