Soul Land IV takes place 10,000 years after Soul Land III. Humanity has now fully conquered space, establishing a multi-planet Federation and utilizing massive warships. The story follows Lan Xuanyu, a boy with a mysterious origin who was found inside a frozen egg.

Unlike previous protagonists, Xuanyu possesses a bloodline that shouldn't exist: a perfect fusion of the Golden Dragon King and the Silver Dragon King.
