Return of the Mount Hua Sect follows Cheongmyeong, the "Plum Blossom Sword Saint" and one of the three greatest swordsmen in history. After a cataclysmic battle that ends in the death of the Great Demon, Cheonma, Cheongmyeong breathes his last, only to awaken 100 years later in the body of a young beggar.

To his horror, he discovers that his beloved Mount Hua Sect—once one of the most prestigious in the world—has fallen into absolute ruin, crippled by debt and stripped of its legendary techniques. Driven by a mix of nostalgia and pure, unadulterated rage at the sect's current state, Cheongmyeong joins as a "third-class disciple." Using his century of combat wisdom and a notoriously "trashy" personality, he begins a brutal and hilarious campaign to drag Mount Hua back to its former glory—even if he has to beat every other sect (and his own disciples) to do it.
